Hi, I'm Karli the maker of Lola's Studio, I currently live in the Perth hills with my dogs Lola, Pepper and rabbit Ted. When I'm not at my bench, I work in the Addiction rehabilitation and Disability support space. Creativity has always been very important to me and I feel incredibly lucky that people choose to wear my art- something so personal and lasting.

 

I began making jewellery at the end of 2021, during a time when creating art helped me with ongoing mental health challenges. I am self-taught and initially I started with traditional methods, but recently I discovered wax carving- a method I have found to open up a new world of design possibilities with creating jewellery.

Each piece I make is one of a kind, designed and crafted by me using sterling silver and often featuring Australian opals I have cut and polished by hand. I'm drawn to the raw, the natural, the perfectly imperfect- jewellery that feels organic, expressive and Unique. There's no mass production here, just slow, intentional creating.
